Hotel deals in Lisbon
There are no fixed “deals” to list, because rates change daily and we don't show prices. Here is how to look for savings in Lisbon, and where to compare.
When to look in Lisbon
Usually good to visit: April to June and September to October, when days are warm and sunny. Often quieter, with lower demand: January to February. Moving your dates by a few days, or staying mid-week, can change what's on offer.
Where to compare
Rates can differ a lot between areas. Popular choices:
- Baixa: Flat, central grid of squares and shops, handy for transport
- Alfama: Old hillside maze of lanes, fado bars and castle views
- Bairro Alto: Narrow streets of bars and restaurants that come alive at night
- Chiado: Elegant area of bookshops, theatres and cafés between two hills
Checklist before you book
- Compare at least two or three sites for the same dates and guests.
- Check what the total includes: taxes, city fees and breakfast.
- Look at the cancellation terms. A flexible rate can be worth a little more.
- Try nearby dates and a neighbouring area.
- Read recent guest reviews on the booking site itself.
